Alecio Ferrari is a photographer who currently lives and works in Milan, Italy. His personal practice research gravitates around the themes of nature-culture dualism and the ambivalent relationship of man towards nature. His imagery is conceived as a hybrid of real and imaginary, playing around with both staged and un-staged scenarios.
His practice deals with history, mythology, and cultural heritage through methods such as photography, scanning, and collection of objects. Photography as a document of truth as well as a tool to forge a fictitious narrative, and creates a new space in which the scene takes place to challenge this language.
His work includes books, exhibitions, editorial stories, and commissions, working with brands and magazines such as: Apartamento Magazine, Artek, Alessi, Bally, CC-Tapis, Fornasetti, Flos, Hypebeast, Loro Piana, M le Monde, Nike, Off-White, Prada, Stone Island, Sunnei, Zegna.
