Johann Husser

Johann Husser (born in Kemerovo, Soviet Union and grew up in NRW, Germany), is an artist and photographer currently based in Dresden, Germany. He holds a BA in Photography (FH Dortmund) and completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Media Arts at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2022. His projects emerge from loose structures. Within these, he is largely influenced and inspired by two main thematic blocks. That of urban space, the associated questions of who owns the city and how space can be depicted in the image, and that of associative memory spaces, related to his post-soviet family history.
