Nicolas Schnabel is a Vienna-based photographer and filmmaker working at the intersection of intimate portraiture, narrative, and conceptual image-making. His practice moves fluidly between photography, film, and artist books, often in close collaboration with other artists. His book "Marry Me?" (2024), co-authored with Neela Keane, is a 264-page meditation on love, ambiguity, and projection - seven visual stories that resist resolution and invite the viewer to fill the gaps. He has also collaborated with Tizian Machtolf and Neela Keane on the exhibition "Gerade Leider Schief," shown in Dortmund, and presented work at AFA Space in Vienna.
